Are you into painting with buttercream or cocoa butter? Having different shapes of palette knife tips is just like having different bristle heads sizes and shapes for traditional paint brushes - you get different effects depending upon the length and shape of the head you are using!
We've sourced 10 different shapes that are commonly used for buttercream painting. They range in overall length from 16.8cm/6 5/8" to 21cm/8.25". Some have wood handles, some have plastic handles and all have stainless steel heads. We recommend hand-washing only (no soaking, no dishwasher) to ensure a long use life.
Each handle+head stem is approximately 13cm/5" long and the head sizes in length are approximately:
